Bunless Guacamole Burger

Bunless Guac Burger

Ingredients
  • Vegetable oil, for frying
  • 4 shallots, sliced thinly into rings
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 head of iceberg lettuce
  • 1 – 4 count package of Wholly Guacamole® 100 cal minis
Instructions
  1. In a large saucepan, heat about 1 inch of vegetable oil to approximately 325 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour and smoked paprika. Toss sliced shallots in the flour. Coat the shallots well.
  3. Drop coated shallots in the hot oil. Stir gently until golden. Using a slotted spoon, remove and transfer to a paper towel to drain.
  4. Preheat grill to medium-high.
  5. In a separate bowl combine ground beef, salt, pepper and Worcestershire sauce. Gently mix. Form 4 patties.
  6. Grill burgers over medium-high heat for 4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness has been reached.
  7. Peel or cut off a few leaves of lettuce for each burger. Wash and dry lettuce. Top with burger, 1 Wholly Guacamole mini and a few fried shallots.
